Second time staying here this month while working at Stansted. What a cracking find and reasonable prices for the area. Lovely pub with rooms attached . Really friendly staff, good selection of ales and other drinks and good pub gub. The room is good with comfy bed and nicely decorated and furnished. I will definitely stay here again for next year's visit. Thank you to the whole team.

Stayed at the Cock Inn for a weekend in January whilst visiting friends for a big birthday celebration. As a solo traveller, it's always important to feel comfortable and the Cock Inn team delivered that comfort in a big way! I had a very warm welcome and everything about access out of hours and breakfast etc was explained by the friendly owner. Breakfast was delicious, with a help yourself juice/cereal/yoghurt type bar and a cooked to order hot breakfast 😋. Everyone I encountered was so friendly from the team to the locals in the bar. The housekeeping team were so kind when my flight home was cancelled and offered for me to stay an extra night - I didn't need to do that in the end but their compassion was so appreciated when I was a bit stressed out!! Thank you to you all - can't wait to visit next time I come to visit my friends.

Fantastic stay at the Cock Inn Hotel as I was down in the area visiting friends. Superb clean and functional accommodation, fantastic food and brilliant hospitality from John and the team. The attention to detail on display was superb. I am looking forward to staying again when I am next in the area.

The first ever pup i have come across that dose Alcohol Free beer on draft 😀 so I was super impressed and such a lovely prime location just outside the slums of Harlow in a nice little remote village and the rooms are lovely and cozy and the food was top notch to.

Stayed here whilst working in North London. Well worth the short journey up the M11 which is close by. The service was excellent, evening meals and beer choices were great. Breakfast was good. Overall a great find and will definitely us again when in the area.

We stayed here the night of our wedding as it was perfectly located. We could not have asked for better accommodation. The room was huge, lovely comfy bed and the staff welcomed my husband to be when he came to collect our key earlier in the day, as we knew we were going to bed late back they were kind enough to allow us to collect the key before official checking in time, this made our day and night so much easier and stress free. We will be recommending the hotel to anyone who needs accommodation in the area. Thank you all so much, the new Mr and Mrs Smith xx

Booked in for a night while away with work. Excellent bar looks so homely and feels so warm and clean. Staff are very friendly. We managed to use the restaurant. Really good menu. I had the mushrooms with a creamy blue cheese sauce wow, loved it. Main was a steak n ale pie, beautifully made, very tasty. Couldn't fault it. The rooms in the hotel part are a little sparse with the basics. TV wasn't working properly. But all in all good for a stop over. Worth a stay if yr passing. Or just pop in for food. 8 out of 10 Many thanks

Love this Inn! Great location near the airport but further enough away that you don't feel you are staying at the airport. The staff are amazing and so hospitable! Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need, including bathtubs, toiletries, and biscuits for your morning tea! The inn has a garden out back, and the birds and butterflies are a welcome sight after being stuck in aeroplanes and airports. The pub has a super atmosphere! We eat dinner in the restaurant, excellent selection, and huge portions. The fish was superb, and the apple and cinnamon crumble an absolute must! It's definitely my new place to stay in Essex.

We stayed as a group of 6 (a double room and a family room) as we had a night out nearby. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and all of the accommodation areas felt newly decorated. Comfy beds, lots of space and wide opening windows (unlike many of the big chain hotels...!). The breakfast was full English and was delicious. Lastly, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was spot on.

Another very nice dinner, pub stay and breakfast. Friendly welcoming staff, comfortable bed. (Quite weird to find the kettle wired into a wall switch. Maybe other guests not quite so sociable.) Anyhow, we enjoyed our visit.

Even thought a hotel attached to pub to chairs in a corridor to meet friends, as pub closed......not very welcoming.

What a lovely place! Super friendly staff and a nice spacious room with an incredibly good bed (we slept oh so well). The pub had a great atmosphere and some lovely food. I would certainly visit again when we are in the neighberhood. Allthough still feeling sorry for taking the roomkey with me.

Stayed for one night for work Price was great which also included breakfast, bar staff were really friendly and the pub was really nice. Room was clean and breakfast was really good. Will definitely be staying here in the futre
